Yesterday I had a rather slack day in school. Or should I say I did not go to school because of my volleyball tournament. By the way, we WON the tournament with the score of 25-10, 25-1. Yeah!! When we came back, it was already 2.13p.m. and our class is ending at 2.15p.m. By the time we step in class, the bell rang. We went up to the math’s teacher and she asked us to stay back tomorrow for a test we had missed. After school, I went for training as usual but the training ended early as we were all tired after our competition.
My mother asked me that morning to go to her office after training to have dinner with her. Thus, I took a taxi to Shenton way. It was not difficult to locate the building since it had a red logo ( 
) that was hard to miss.
I recalled that she worked on the 17th floor as I was there before. The security officer on the ground floor made visitors sign in logbook. I joined the queue and filled in my particulars. Then, I squeezed into the lift. The people must be working there as all of them were dressed smartly. The men were wearing long sleeve shirts and ties. While, the women were wearing blouses and skirts.
I got off on the 17th floor. Everyone knew where to go except me.fi felt like a fish out of water. I stood in front of the office and looked for my mother. The office looked like a hectic workplace. All the people were either on the phone or on the computer. There!! I saw my mother. She was on the phone and when she ended her conversation, she said “OK, let me finish my work first before I go”. My mother and I had a great dinner at McDonalds before we went home.
